The Royal Wedding

be updated from time to time

get updates on:http://twitter.com/#!/sulley86

Rain was expected to shower during the wedding, but it hold up(mother nature was good). When I watched it from the television, it was amazing to see the size of the crowd that gathered along the pathways that are going to be used by the royals and such. As cars after cars went pass the route to reach the church, there was almost a surreal excitement that came with that, as the wife to be of Prince William was ushered into the car with daddy helping as the tram that was that  part of her wedding dress was a slight nuisance.( We wouldn't want to destroy such delicate dress. The biggest roar of all was save for Kate as she make her way to Westminster Abby with her daddy.
I think the defining moment for me was when Kate got walk the aisle, as the voices from the choir echoed through the church of Westminster. Younger brother Harry, took a peek behind and reassures Williams with words of encouragement I guess. I thought that was sweet.
The carriage ride was awesome, but the balcony scene was important for me than the dress or the wedding ceremony at the church itself. They gave not only one, but two quick kisses to each other. I thought those smooches should be  longer.

food review: the big tree asam pedas

If you know Pak Putra in Malacca, than you will not have any trouble finding this shop. Just be hardworking to look around. My aunt and her daughter came down to Malacca to have a detour before heading down to KL.
 the big signage

the main stars of the night
this is how an asam pedas dish looks like. Claypot of tamarind juice, curry laden fishy goodness and a plate of white rice with side dishes of stir fried cabbage with carrots and sambal.
it was flavorful, with a good balance of sweet and salty, the only downside for me though is it's spiciness. I love dishes like this spicy, but for this it was mediocre in the level of spiciness.

random rants

the problem with that is at the end of the day.
is that you will still offend someone at the end of the day
people have different background growing up
different virtues and moral values that are taught when growing up
it's like saying Jiki's char keow teow is the best. some might say lorong selamat char keow teow is the best.
two different opinion just because someone grew up eating that first as oppose to the latter. What your perceive as truth for a long time might be some other truth to others.
Should I dismiss someone's opinion. No way. Should I invest on someones opinion if it is true? Of course. It adds value to your previous virtues, moral values, opinion or thinking
I think the  biggest problem is finding that middle ground to be at peace with each other. That is, the stinking problem.

99 miles to home

Sam Robson did what most people do after completing a marathon: He went home and fell asleep. Except rather than drive to his house,99 miles away from the finish line of the London Marathon, Robson ran back. All the way.
The 28-year-old from Central England finished Sunday's official race in 3 hours and 45 minutes before starting on the 99-mile second leg. He arrived to his home in St. Ives Cambs about 25 hours later, greeted by a cheering crowd. In total, he ran 125 miles in 29 hours, a pace of around 13 minutes per mile.
That number sounds insane, but it's even more mind-boggling if you really think about it. Think back to what you were doing five hours ago yesterday. Now imagine you've been running since then. I don't know if most people could stay awake that long, let alone do anything remotely physical.
Robson, a medical researcher, completed the super-marathon to raise money for the UK Epilepsy Society. In all, he raised a little more than $5,000 for the charity. Robson has suffered from the condition since he was a teenager.
He told reporters that the running itself was easy, but staying up, keeping hydrated and ingesting calories (to make up for the 15,000 he burned) was the hard part.
"I had to have regular breaks to refill my water and whenever I stopped my legs seized up so I couldn't rest for long. In terms of tiredness, my legs felt pretty good and the worst bit was I had to keep eating to replace all the calories I was burning.
One day after his mega-run, Robson said he was doing fine except for some soreness. That's to be expected. It wasn't just his first 99-mile run, it was his first marathon too.

1 Malaysia Email crap!!!

Links related to issue:
Some issues I find hard to swallow and is extremely suspicious.
  • Tricubes is a financially troubled company so how will they get RM50 million for this project?
  • How is hotmail, yahoo mail or g-mail not secure, and even if this project is up, I doubt any IT related project made by Malaysian are secure.
  • In the midst of upcoming general  and not so general election in the coming months and years ahead, is this one Malaysia email a propaganda tool to spread the government influences. Who knows right? Just saying.
As usual, our beloved government knows only how to implements things without seeing the consequences in the long run.

the history of the smiley

It is commonly represented as a yellow (many other colors are also used) circle (or sphere) with two black dots representing eyes and a black arc representing the mouth. “Smiley” is also sometimes used as a generic term for any emoticon.

The Happy face was first introduced to popular culture in 1958 when the WMCA radio station in New York ran a competition for the most popular radio show at the time, 'Cousin Brucie'. Listeners who answered their phone 'WMCA Good Guys!', were rewarded with a 'Good Guys!' sweatshirt that incorporated a happy face into its design. Thousands of these sweatshirts were given away during the late 1950s, and soon after, Harvey Ball, an American commercial artist, was employed by an advertising company to create a happy face to be used on buttons.
In 1972, Franklin Loufrani introduced the happy face to a European audience, giving it the name "Smiley". On January 1 the 'take the time to smiley' promotion was launched in the French newspaper 'France Soir'. The Smiley logo was used to highlight all good news so people could choose to read positive and uplifting articles.[
The graphic was popularized in the early 1970s by Philadelphia brothers Bernard and Murray Spain, who seized upon it in September 1970 in a campaign to sell novelty items. The two produced buttons as well as coffee mugs, t-shirtsbumper stickers and many other items emblazoned with the symbol and the phrase "Have a happy day" (devised by Gyula Bogar) which mutated into "have a nice day". Working with New York button manufacturer NG Slater, some 50 million happy face badges were produced by 1972.[6]
In the 1970s, the happy face (and the accompanying 'have a nice day' mantra) is also said to have become a zombifying hollow sentiment, emblematic of Nixon-era America and the passing from the optimism of the Summer of Love into the more cynical decade that followed. This motif is evidenced in the era of "paranoid soul" such as "Smiling Faces Sometimes" (released by The Temptations in April 1971, and by The Undisputed Truth in July 1971), "I'll Take You There" (The Staples Singers, 1972), "Don't Call Me Brother" (The O'Jays, 1973), "Back Stabbers" (The O'Jays), and "You Caught Me Smilin'" (Sly and the Family Stone, 1971).[6] The origins of this was parodied in a famous scene from the movie Forrest Gump when Forrest is on his multiple jogs across America, and wipes his face on a T shirt given him by a struggling salesman, and on the shirt, as if transferred there by Forrest's face, is the image of the happy face, whereupon the man gets his idea. The happy face was also seen on a van in a scene from Mork and Mindy, the van driven by men who kidnap them.
In the UK, the happy face has been associated with psychedelic culture since Ubi Dwyer and the Windsor Free Festival in the 1970s and the dance music culture that emerged during the second summer of love in the late 1980s. The association was cemented when the band Bomb The Bass used an extracted smiley from Watchmen on the centre of its Beat Dis hit single.

I demand sex man!!!

KUALA LUMPUR - MALAYSIAN men have extramarital sex because of 'wives who neglect their responsibilities' to their husbands, a Malaysian lawmaker told Parliament on Thursday, outraging women's groups.
'Husbands driving home after work see things that are sexually arousing and go to their wives to ease their urges,' said independent lawmaker Ibrahim Ali, according to online portal Malaysiakini.
'But when they come home to their wives, they will say, 'wait, I'm cooking,' or 'wait, I'm getting ready to visit relatives',' Mr Ali said.
'In Islam, wives are supposed to stop everything to fulfill their husband's demands.' Mr Ali heads Perkasa, a right-wing Malay nationalist group seeking to protect ethnic Malay dominance in politics.
His strident comments came as he asked about plans by the government's religious development department to educate wives on their responsibilities.
Wives failing in their duties pushed men to go to 'private places to satisfy their urges", he said. -- AFP

I guess his "wives" are his sex machines, robots or zombies. What the way to say things man? You are really a genius!!! *claps*
