Is it a syndrome in Taiwan where the girls there have to talk cute  and act super girly. Reminds me of an episode in How I met your mother where Robin got overshadowed by her co-anchor with her needy and dumb personality with the annoying cute voice. It's fake and annoying and it is such a turn off. Maybe except if your are the needy and desperate  kind of girl. Very off putting  man!!! She sounds sleazy and pretentious!!! Damn annoying!!! Ahahahaha.

movie review: Cars 2

The second installment after the much successful film, see Lightning McQueen and best friend Mater, on another adventure. This time, after much persuasion from girlfriend Sally and from the invitation of former oil tycoon Axelrod to join the World Grand Prix, it brings them to competition across countries such as Japan, Italy and Britain. In the process, Mater becomes entangled in  espionage of epic proportion.
One thing which you find that is obvious in this second installment is how the movie deviates from nostalgia and carefree scenarios to a more high octane and actions pack storyline.  Even Mater, takes center stage as Lightning McQueen plays second fiddle this time around.
The continuity was solid throughout. The movie does not feel draggy and is rich in color and sound. It was just a simple and  a feel good movie, which is always with a Pixar production.
Overall, its a solid and entertaining movie to watch.

If you crave for pork, this is not a bad place to get them. Overall, it was good, not spectacular.

Aiyoh!!! Funny thing is how to respect the older folks when they always do something bad.


Things I observe and I myself should take note not to do:

• Two well aged aunties perhaps in their forties or fifties try to get into the front of a queue to check in the luggage at an airport.
• they don't queue up at the hospital
• they don't queue up at he buffet table. Not only that, they decided to raid the buffet table and left no food for other diners.
• decided to cut the queue at the wash area of a restaurant. Sorry, looks petty, but its a big deal for me...

Bad example/role models for the kids. *sigh* How are supposed to respect the old folks huh?

food review: curry wantan noodle

 Price: RM5.50 (Big portion)

The curry gravy is thick and creamy without the overwhelming oiliness in some other curry noodle dish. The portion of  noodle and the meat was quite good.

Side note: this is a non-halal dish.

you cannot be greedy at 7e at night

you always have to remind yourself that you cannot be greedy at a seven eleven convenient store.at night. Two ice-cream and one big lump sum of money ain't gonna help you...lol.

when fireworks attack

I am not sure if the parents should be blame for it or the kids or the supplier of the fireworks. At the end of the day, its hard for me to feel sad or sympathetic  for the kids who got the injuries because it is seriously avoidable. Don't you think so???
