the credit card crunch?

I was checking out the cashier counter at Jusco, when I saw something stupid in my opinion. A lady sticking out her credit card just to pay for a bunch of shorts. Perpetual stupidy I say.

Last Monday, I woke up with high fever before going to class.

It was to the general hospital for treatment

I had rashes prior to the high fever

Intravenous drip.

So I went back as asked by the doctor. The fever didn't subside so I went back to the hospital and I decided to stay in the ward and on Tuesday morning I was admitted to the dengue ward.

the bloody hospital bed. The doctor seem to be having a hard time drawing out blood from my arm.

the best and some say the only way to treat dengue is to consume lots of fluid.

I never get sick easily and to be that long in the  hospital was really a new experience for me. At some days I was really feeling restless and helpless.

the bus driver did this awesome maneuver  where he nudge the car in-front of the traffic from behind. I say... that is seriously  one "badass" driving on his part, The part that irks me the most is how all the rest of the cars are also heading the same way. I don't know what is he in a  hurry for. Malaccan drivers deserves a two thumbs up. really..

powerlifting: an inspiration and thankfulness

I tuned in to the 19th Commonwealth Games in Delhi a few days back, and there was this one event that really struck a cord in my heart

it's the Women's powerlifting competition.

what is power lifting?Paralympic powerlifting is an adaptation of the sport of powerlifting for athletes with disabilities. The only discipline in Paralympic powerlifting is the bench press.

those guys are there to catch the weights is she is unable to lift it.

sadly she didn't manage to lift the weight required of her.

A valiant effort indeed. 

It was a good reminder of striving to achieve something in the midst of our own inadequacies. Never shall I complain about my own, considering for the fact that my hands and limbs are still working.
