There was this particularly interesting topic that a friend of mine brought up at his facebook account. What do you think about hugs and the Asian perspective of it? Does the Asian popular feel abashed by the notion of getting or giving a hug? What is your opinion on this?

Twenty left???
Two korean(one lady and a guy) ask me for directions to a Hotel near Limbongan. In the conversation I said, "turn to your left into the junction at the traffic light".
She look bewildered and at the same time looked at her guy friend and said, " Twenty left????".
And I go smiling at them and then did the same to me bowing their heads and told me, " It's okay, thank you"
I walk off laughing my ass off at how that went......

Please dial again!!
Just having a conversation at a Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet with my sister and I think she said something that was logical in my book.
"We tend to forget hand-phone or house phone number because we don't dial them numbers anymore. We just go to the phone book and dial the numbers instead of keying them in".
I think that it is kind of true. When we used old house phones or when we used a public phone before there is an invention called the mobile phone, we hum the number, we say out loud the number, when we dial the number up. With the repetition of humming and saying out loud the number, we tend to remember the number while dialing up the number from the mobile phone book directly. Your thoughts on this?

There are 2 types of Msian Chinese. One speak mostly English and the other mostly Chinese...and both groups hardly mix with one another.

in the deep nature of girls
I just came back from shopping with the girls just now and after getting the clothes they need for whatever reasons it is, one of them ask me this???:
Xionbloop: Why yeah it's the girls who have the urged to shopped but not the guys?
Well my responds was this: Well I think it's in the very deep inner nature of girls to need to shop or have the urge to shop because they need to look pretty??
Maybe lah kan??You tell me??
