airport glum

Chief Minister of Melaka Ali Rustam, it finally took you this long to admit huh?

I don't give a damn whose fault is it, but please do some long term research before embarking on an upgrading adventure. Ohhh like lets say an airport?
If you did that properly, I wouldn't have to move my sorry ass in a taxi/car/ bus to the airport( LCCT/ KLIA) all the time, when I want to fly back to Kuching.
Can execute but cannot plan properly. As usual.....

Ever wondered why Tune hotel never expended its 'empire' to Melaka despite the fact that Melaka is pretty much a tourist town?

Probably same reason why Air Asia hasn't decided to fly Melaka route, eventho previously they were rumours saying there'd be a Melaka-Penang route: It's too expensive to bring them in and its just not worth it. By too expensive, I mean the 'under the table' costs.

well, my hometown kuching there was rumours before that , that GSC will open in the newly open mall that time the spring, but it was scrapped because some said "my beloved" chief minister wants a certain percentage of profits from GSC( not so sure about this) after each movies which is showing there. Eventually the plan to open was cancelled. I think its the same problem. Who knows right?

Eh...my counterpart came over to Penang and bought tonnes of Gardenia bread back. I was a lil surprised cuz heck...we can get those from minimarts here in the Peninsula. He said he liked the bread..but unfortunately they don't have a Gardenia factory there...and (if i'm not mistaken) they weren't allowed to import them too...apparently to allow 'local' bread companies to thrive. He also said that there weren't hypermarts (Tesco, Giant, Carrefour) over there as they would present as a threat to the 'local' market...and by 'local'...we know who owns them la..hehe...

Politics. Sigh.

the gardenia thingy is not a myth, but the truth. If gardenia gonna open factories here, the smaller bakeries gonna close down pretty fast. As for a certain "local" who owns it, i think combining the whole bakery outlets in kuching won't make the local rich. Its the natural resources that is making him so.
As for the supermarket, no so sure either...
